Cookie Policy
This policy explains how Dotco Technologies LLC uses cookies and similar technologies on the Signal website and application. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies we use
Strictly necessary (always on)
| Set by | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|
| Clerk | Keep you signed in; session security; bot and fraud protection. | Session and up to ~1 year |
| Signal | Remember your theme, accent, and cookie-consent choice (stored in your browser's local storage, not sent to our servers). | Until you clear it |
These are required for the Service to function and cannot be switched off through our banner.
Analytics (only with your consent)
| Set by | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) | Measure page views and feature usage in aggregate so we can improve the product. IP anonymization is enabled. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising or remarketing. | Cookies up to 2 years; data retained 14 months |
These load only after you click "Accept analytics" on our cookie banner. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set.
2. Managing your choice
You can change your decision at any time:
- Use the control (also in the site footer) to reopen the banner and accept or decline.
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break sign-in.
- Install Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
3. Do Not Track
Because there is no common industry standard for "Do Not Track" signals, the Service does not currently respond to them. Our consent banner gives you direct control instead.
4. Changes
If we add or change cookies we will update this page and, where required, ask for your consent again. Questions: privacy@signalstrm.com.
